Improved resolution when playing in docked mode.
The latest patch for the Nintendo Switch version of Minecraft improves the game’s visuals.
According to the patch notes posted by 4J Studios on the official Minecraft community forums, the update enables Minecraft to output at a 1080p resolution when the Switch is in docked mode.
Before, the game could only output at a resolution of 720p regardless of whether or not it was being used outside of portable mode.
The patch also makes several other tweaks to Minecraft: Switch Edition, including a wealth of bug fixes and the addition of the free Glide track, Canyon.
